Yeah, so I might have written this one about a year ago. But I'm old enough to forget a few things every now and then, alright?

If you'd care to toddle on off to here. It's a fic in three parts, and it will all be posted by New Year's. It's a bit heartening, a bit depressing, a bit family!angst, and a bit 'I really needed to figure out this head canon'. It's Arwen, with a lot of Elrond, Lindir, Aragorn, the twins, Bilbo and a bit of unconscious Frodo thrown in. And it's movie canon.

Oh, yes! I found this post after I asked you where the fic was in a comment. Now, I know where to find the precious. Off to read. I do like Arwen and she gets used in fics far less than the others.

I adore Elrond being the parent stories. They fill my heart with warmth. This one didn't really intend to go that way, but there it went anyways.

Arwen's pretty damn hard to write, as it turns out! But yeah, she got the short end of the stick in the films and I think they could have done a bit more with her, after they introduced her in such a good way. So, here's a bit of make up.

I have a soft spot for Lindir, particularly since An Unexpected Journey came out.

Glad you like the icon. It amuses me. I'd like to have a holiday where I was allowed to 'air my grievances' without fear of repercussions. That Festivus tradition has always appealed to me. : )

I like this very much. Arwen's POV of this terrible event is very interesting, and well written. Please let us know when further chapters are posted! I look forward especially to any mention of Bilbo. :)
