You know what I didn't need this summer? I didn't need to write a 43,000 word story for my 25,000 word HetBigBang entry. And I really, really didn't need, once I finished that two months early, to start another 25,000 word fic in the same fandom. At least, blessedly, this one is not het. It's nice to have a little bit of variety. Instead, it's 'family' which I've never written before and I'm kind of adoring.

No, wait, I'm not adoring it. I hate it! Stupid Amy, STOP writing Twilight fic!

I would just like to a)have time to write for other fandoms and b)be able to write for other fandoms. I haven't had a Doctor Who plot bunny in eight months. That worries me.

I don't think I'll be able to stop writing for Twilight any time soon! My muse seems to have taken control!

Mine's been a hell of a bastard this year. I was doing really well in January and then nothing. And then - suddenly - 43,000 words! Fickle bastard.

Also, you can read the second one if you really want to! When I finish it though? It's about 60% done, I think. I'm slugging away day by day. It's not writing as easily as the first. Probably because I'm writing it in a way I haven't written in years, and I'm still used to one shots. I'm grinning as I write though; it's just all a bit silly.

I always feel like I should have a warning on my ff.net page. Something along the lines of 'read at your own risk'. I'm not proud of some of the fics up there (okay, many of the fics up there). But a few I love!
