Have just put five and five together and magically gotten ten and now I'm laughing my ass off. Took me more than ten years to make that connection. Thank you Rubert Everett!

It was Highlander related...in a very round about way. Said it wouldn't make sense to anyone but me.

You know, sometimes I think about watching Highlander...and then I decide that that particular phase of my life is past, and it's too late to reclaim it now.

I went through a re-obsession during my dissertation writing (or not writing, I should say), since I really had nothing else to do and I had them on my hardrive.

And then I remembered that I really do still love Peter Wingfield, and things just disintegrated from there. Sanctuary Eps. 12&13 didn't really help.

And then I started reading fanfic again and realised why I loved it in the first place. There were very few Mary Sues/stupid teenagers in the HL fandom. Blessed relief. And the number one reason I seem to have fallen out from the DW fandom.

And somehow that all came back to Rupert Everett and Lord Byron. Don't ask. It was, however, a brilliant revelation in it's magnitude. Most of which came from my own massive stupidity.

I keep doing work but I don't seem to be actually accomplishing anything in the way of product to show for it. That's bad right? Yes, that's bad.
