Happy Happy Thanksgiving

windemereBetween the too much food and the too much wine and the too much laughter, I am...kind of in pain right now.
But it was all good, and I met people, and it was good (the food, that is), and it was fun. And hey, best Thanksgiving ever. And we have decided to do anothe pot luck in January, though not the 25th, since the concept of Burns' Night was rather lost on the Americans and Katie.
And I managed, through sheer force of will, not to be a geek at all this evening. Go me! I can socialize with normal people!
Also, in my brilliance, I managed to work in "Bananas are good" to the conversation in response to Ash's joke about being allergic. Unfortunately, it was rather wasted, since no one got it. Oh well.
Tired.
