12 days and counting....

windemereFirst off, Lesley is right, a countdown is needed for these sort of important events.
Secondly, I will be enjoying only one Tom, as the other is, personally, not nearly as good looking. And Oliver, there will be much enjoying of Oliver in the few scenes he's in. I'm marrying Sean Biggerstaff, for those of you who don't know. As he's exactly 2 months older than me and has a delightful Scottish accent.
Thirdly, I can't wait until the weekend, and the Leah/Jessica HP party, which I will enjoy dressing up for immensly, although if I get sorted into Hufflepuff there will be murder committed.
Fourthly, which sounds really bad, I have two bloody mid-terms this week, and have yet to study for either of them, which is very, very bad, and I should be shot for it, as I probably will commit suicide after I see my Anthro mark ::shudders:: We're allowed to fail one course, right?
On another HP note, I am very, very excited and must stop staring at photos or I might have a heart attack before I even get to the movie. Which would be bad as I promised Kara we'd do that together. Dueling scene....::falls over:: Diagon Alley...oh gods....this is torture....12 days, 12 days, that's less than two weeks, I can make it!
Not a chance in hell. But then, I live there, so maybe there is. Must go see. ::trundles off to search hell for miracles:: I could be at this awhile.
And here's the inevitable notes:
Kara: I love you, but I want you to come visit, otherwise you might not like the consequences. Trust me, it'll be worth it...
Sidra: I changed the family tree again after I realized that if Rowena and Goderic married, he must have had a damn son, or Harry would not be the Heir of Gryffindor, so add a son to the three daughters, have him marry and Irish girl, and voila! James and Harry Potter. It works.
Stop the laughing.
Ellen: who occasionally reads this, and I don't know why, becuase every time a write something I must be on drugs. Wish I knew which ones....hope you had fun at home, sorry the car pool thing hasn't been working out quite as well as I hoped. We have to go see HP at some point. What you doing at the beginning of December? I'm free till the 10th!
And with that, I will be home from the 2-10 of December, and then perminately home on the 17 (except for the mid-year on the 19, but that's not important). Therefore I will be home to welcome Rachel, and am resiting the urge to call her parents and beg to go to the airport, as I will probably be arrested for noise disterbance and dressing up like an idiot in a black robe, but hey, you only live once.
Alright, that's enough. I'm going to go eat lunch now, and then do work/study. I'm serious!

Date: 2002-11-03 10:40 am (UTC)Speaking of my essay - it's supposed to be my lovely literary essay about Harry Potter, but I keep getting distracted and enjoying the book too much. ::school was not meant to be enjoyed for that reason - that's the real reason why HP is a banned book:: Anyways, the topic I'm floating towards is characterization of HP in 1200 words. I'm thinking of looking at name meanings and how they relate to the progression of the character, as well as animagi and how the animal relates to the characterization of the character. Think this counts as a good literary essay? On the other hand, I'm considering looking at the archetype of the hero (if I could find my notes) and assess where we are on the journey, therefore looking at varying lingering questions that have yet to be answered, as JK is 15 months LATE. ::isn't bitter...:: What do you think? Then I could again look at the side characters and analyze positions and plots with hints of characterization. GAH! Too many ideas! HELP!
