Dec. 18th, 2006 04:35 pmIt must be the Monday before xmas, because only the Monday before xmas do things start to go this wrong.
a) The basement is not finished. Now, it was never going to be completely finished before the holidays, but the construction work was supposed to be done, and Marshall was supposed to be long gone. He's back in every day this week.
b) Grandma is in the hospital...or at least emerg, but she's not doing well at all, and after a year, no one has any idea what's wrong with her...STILL. If she ends up admitted, and is in hospital over the holidays, I will be vividly reminded of my childhood...where at least one person was in the hospital over holidays. And I though 2006 was going to be a better year than 2005...
c) I have thankfully convinced myself that the SGA episode that is on tonight (and that I will not see until Wed.) is not the one where Carson goes MIA. I have convinced myself of this not because of factual proof, but rather because I really can't continue living any other way. And also, what kind of episode title is "Sunday" for a main character to bugger off the show? It's just not decent!
d) I have what amounts to a pounding headache, partly because I haven't slept well in a week, and partly because I continue to stare at a computer for the better part of 5 hours a day, and partly because I probably need a new prescription.
Gah. Off to listen to depressing music. Thank the gods Rachel comes in two days.
