windemereI am happy today. Why, you may ask? Firstly, because no one, and I repeat, NO ONE is in the office tomorrow except myself and Gabriel. And although that means I have to listen to him talk all day, it also means I get paid to sit around and stare at the phone until it rings. I shall gets lots of my book read!
Also, I got half of the blue robe sewn last night, and already it looks fantastic! I am so happy I found the fabric I did (an at $9m too!), and although the faux fur isn't perfect, it is at least the right colour. Will hopefully finish it by tomorrow evening, so I can spend the weekend wearing it around the house. And then I can work on the underdress, with the hope to get it finished before parents arrive back and ask why the hell I'm wasting my money on sewing costumes with no convention to wear them too. :D I so don't care. If I finish it in time, I shall take it to the cottage and enjoy wearing it there. And the fabric is perfect for the summer heat...
Am so excited! Now, to find a convention...and money.
