Update...sorta
Oct. 25th, 2005 06:21 pmSo, new fic up at www.fanfiction.net/~aromene. Please, please, PLEASE, suggest a new title.
I went fabric shopping today. This was for fun for many reasons, and bad only because I do not have the money to go fabric shopping. But I have two presentations coming up in which I have to be in costume. (Question: What grade am I in?) One as the Lord High Steward of the British Monarchy, the other as Helen of Troy. I prefer Helen, personally.
Mom and Dad are coming up this weekend to bring me my new printer/scanner/copier. Am very happy. Also, they will bring all that other stuff I left at home. Will be the last time I see them until nearly Xmas. Thank the gods.
Along with all the OTHER stuff I have to do in the next 7 weeks, apparently, I also have to write my will before I leave. This is not fun for many reasons, but the main one being that this will is a provision for the situation in which all of us are killed in a tragic plane crash in December, leaving the family with no heir. This means that I don't have to make any choices, because I will have nothing for to worry about. However, the will will continue to be in effect for likely the next 5 years. Which means it must also leave a provision for which Mom, Dad, and Edie are all dead and then I die. And it must also have a provision for what happens if I die alone before I'm married and also leave no heir. In other words, this is FUCKING COMPLICATED. Gah.
I must go eat. I have not eaten anything more than a muffin since yesterday. It is now 6:30pm. I'm turning into Rachel.
Cheers,
Amy

Date: 2005-10-26 01:10 am (UTC)My parents generally bring food. And I am giving them one more week before they realize I meant it when I said I wasn't coming home until Christmas and mount a rescue mission.
You need an heir, eh? Or at least a plan? And all I have to worry about is whether or not I should peanut butter on the granola bar I am having for .... I think this is still breakfast actually.
Damn, I'm starving.
