Alright, I apologize for the Hamlet reference.

Secondly:

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events

Problem number one: the title is just too friggin long. I dealt with LOTR, because, well, I had no choice. And I brushed Pirates off as simply a marketing ploy which achieved absolutely nothing to make the movie better...mostly because it couldn't get better.

Problem number two: have not read the books, but the movie was still predictable. Amazing, isn't it?

However, though I only laughed a few times, and not much, Sonny (the baby for all you unread people), was worth the price of admission. Of course, admission was free because I used a gift certificate...but that's beside the point. Jim Carrey however was good, which was a change, as I lost faith in him 5 minutes into watching The Majestic, and as of two days ago had never gained it back. And Meryl Streep was amazing, which, you know.

Ocean's 12

Okay, no problems. I have not one complaint. Except that I can't decided which was better: 11 or 12.

Flight of the Phoenix

Huh, suprisingly, a good movie. Which kind of worries me, but there you go. The acting wasn't bad, the suspense was there. There were a few unpredictable moments....and a few predictable ones. Mirando Otto was great...and managed to not remind me of Eowyn the entire film, except for one scene where I had to restrain myself from squee-ing.

Go, watch, it was worth it...especially as I didn't pay for this movie either. In fact, I didn't pay for all 3. Aren't I talented?
