Alright, would someone care to enlighten me on the reason the world is not fair? And who decided it wasn't going to be fair? I'd like to kill them.

My entire family, that would excluding me, are going to Hawaii next February. But as I am required to get an education in something I no longer have interest in and will never need, I cannot go.

So: Since I'm now trying very hard not to dissolve into a sobbing fit, can anyone cheer me up? Kate? Remind me where we're going next May? Please? Tell me how much fun we're going to have. Pretend that we're going to RingCon next year? PLEASE?!?!?!?

Um....Lost premieres tonight (and some of us don't have night classes and are taping for those of us that do....right?), and we are going to Oklahoma in May, where we are going to meet actors, writers, sound guys, FX guys, other people who understand us, and my brother at the Sci-fi convention at OSU. And some day, after one of us wins the lottery, we will go to Ringcon. Or, alternatively, we'll backpack to Vancouver and hit GateCon on our way to New Zealand.

The world is our oyster, my dear, and once we get over our allergies to expensive seafood, we'll be all over it.
