The day after Canada Day...

windemere::stares at her computer for a good minute:: ...I forgot what I was going to write.
Oops. This definitely posses a problem. Um, lets see...
'The Bourne Identity' is a really good movie. Went to see it last night with Elly and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice mystery/action/spy thriller. Not too many of those these days...fantasy is still reining as number one...not that I mind that, I'm just commenting.
Okay, so formal report, which I promised to do 2 days ago and never got around to it...reading, you know.
It was absolutely the best night of my life! The location was perfect, the best yet, I hope they stay with it for next year. The music wasn't the best, but I got to dance, as well as a slow dance with Dave (tradition), so I was happy. Everyone I saw complemented me on my dress or my hair, or both, and the first comment came from Ashleigh herself, which made my night! The Semkiew (?) house is gorgeous and I wish I could have spent more time looking around...but alas, we were the first limos to leave. Of course that meant we got choice seating at Atlantis, but that's not the point. Anyway, the view was spectacular (running out of adjectives) and you could see all of downtown Toronto, including the CN and the Skydom from the revolving dance floor...yes you heard me...the dance floor moved. It was very cool. And the after party, although I didn't stay long, was small and relaxing, and by that time the alcohol was very appreciated. Hehe.
Well, the computer is burning energy and heat, and considering it's 30*C outside, I think I'll turn it off and go finish one of my books.
