windemereA pet peeve of mine is twiddling my thumbs waiting for people to respond to emails, because I can't make decisions/do the next thing until they do. I get that people have lives and are busy and are not, therefore, going to be on their email at the same time I am, but it annoys me anyways.
Might have a lead on another place to live! Choices! Actually, two other places, but I'm a bit worried about one of them because it seems perfect in fact, but I won't find out until Friday if there is 'hidden things'. The other way, though, is the same price as the place at Queen St I talked about in the last post. However, it's newer. It doesn't have a gym though. But there's free unlimited internet, which Queen St does not have. It's in a massive high rise on the west side of the university district, which would mean being pretty much higher than anyone else in Leicester, which is sort of cool. Decisions, decisions. I think it might come down to rent contract length and which ones gives me the 18 months I need.
In other news, field work planning is coming together and I may have a (slight) idea of what I am supposed to be researching while doing it!
