Aw, you have a completely valid excuse though! And you should be resting that entire arm as much as possible until it's fixed! [And after too]
Here's hoping, since the jeans are in my bottom drawer staring at me. I hate having to get rid of clothes that are perfectly good but don't fit! But I've done it to myself by not exercising and eating tons of carbs this summer.
