I need a blogging icon still!

I've been considering what my first post should be as a PhD student blogger. I think, considering how February went for me, that it should be a honest post that basically sums up 'these are the things they don't tell you you will have to work at' when you start. The hours that do not fall into the 9-5 work day. Without making it sound like I'm complaining. And then end with an introduction to who I am, rather than start out with that.

Thoughts?

The rain and I are having a bet right now as to whether it stops before I have to leave at 4:30. So far, it could go either way.

I think a standard introduction might be best. It's a uni blog, so you should ease them into your writerly creativity. But definitely write about the irregular hours! And remember to cross-post to the Attic too, at least periodically. BTW, we need to have a meeting about that sometime soon.
