Sanctuary 'Fugue'
Nov. 27th, 2011 10:21 amSo, that happened. You know, I like a good singing episode. Key word being 'good'. This one, although the premise was genius, didn't work for me. It didn't flow or feel natural, just all kinds of awkward. I missed Biggie AND Kate this time around. Henry's only funny lines were jokes about Canada [which, normally, I love, but since it was the only comic relief this episode, it just felt contrived].
The Partner (yes, I'm calling him that; he doesn't deserve a name...yet) was the only one I liked this episode! That's NOT RIGHT. I just felt like my show was missing. And then the whole end part? You know, I already watched Breaking Dawn this month; I didn't need to see it again. That was just a bit too much coincidence Damian Kindler.
I don't think the singing really helped Abby's suicide attempt (though the suicide part makes sense, because if I was becoming a monster...well...). She didn't want anyone else to get hurt. Which is very Abby.
I'm annoyed we didn't really get the 'Will and Abby are back together' missing part. Really, the last time we left them was in the sewers and things were a bit unclear. There just seemed to be a jump there. Or, on the other hand: sudden near-death experience and everything is fine again! Either way doesn't work for me. Abby is too awesome for that.
Will had every right to be pissed off. And then Magnus charmed him at the end and everything was okay. Which is not okay.
Gah. I just...this was no my episode.
Dear wind: Stop gusting! I can feel the draft through my window!
I'm thinking of chocolate for breakfast...brunch.
