California Dreaming

windemereOkay, so the way to fly to San Fran is not via New York City. Apparently that is not a concept Delta understands. I didn't get in until 11pm after a cancelled flight and two delays. And have I mentioned Rachel lives 1.5 hours from the airport?
In Anaheim now at Disneyland. Drove down yesterday and I actually drove through LA! Me! It was not as bad as I thought. Driving the first stretch tomorrow too. We are taking a bit of a different route back. By which I mean completely different. We're headed up the 395 up the east side of the Sierra Mountains and then through Yosemite. It will take about 8 hours without stops but who cares? Nowhere to be until Sunday night. Might stay in the mountains for a night or go to the hot springs. Get to drive through some of Death Valley so looking forward to it. Will be able to say I've done quite a bit of California after this trip. Worth it!
Today at Disney so much fun. Dinner at the hotel right now and then back for the fireworks. And then bed because I am very tired!
Monday is Yosemite Valley and then flying back on Tuesday. Don't want to go!!!!!
Still, more than half an awesome road trip still to look forward to. :)
