My last post was in regards to the full moon and the fact that there was a ring around it when I left work last night.

At least I didn't have to wait long to find out what trouble was coming.

McDuff died very suddenly last night. I didn't get to say goodbye.

Oh, honey! I'm sorry! I don't like many dogs, but I adored that one! I loved the way he played with the bearskin rug, and the way he'd look at Rosie all "Oh, child". *hugs*

I'm am so very sorry. I know how that hurts. I recently lost one of my cats, about two weeks ago and I'm still just sick about it.

Thanks luv! It's not easy to lose pets, but I think I miss him more than my last dog who died when I was 17, because Dusty *hated* me. McDuff was very affectionate in comparison.

I am so sorry, sweetie, that you lost your friend. And while I know how terrible it feels when you're not able to say goodbye, I believe with all my heart that they know how much we love them and that that comforts them in the end almost as much as our actual presence. *HUGS*

I should probably expound that McDuff is a dog, but he was the smartest non-human I've ever met and he had the personality of one too. So it does, actually, feel like loosing a close friend. Mostly I'm just worried about his younger sister Rosie, who has never been alone before. I'm worried she's going to have problems.
