The Sport of Champions
Jun. 14th, 2011 03:32 pmIt could have gone better, but it could have gone worse too. I understand why this sport is so addictive. I also get why it's so frustrating.
Yesterday was the driving range and then 5 holes of golf. The range was infinitely less frustrating than the holes. But I did hit some fantastic shots, which my instructor tells me is awesome, considering I've been golfing for 4 days (or about 6 hours) so far. I keep telling her it's because of her, but she isn't listening. I also had some horrific shots, lost 2 balls into the pond, one into the woods on the 10th fairway and didn't finish any hole in less than 9 strokes (which was the PAR 3).
Still, it can always be worse. I like it!
