Okay, it's not like I didn't watch it. I did, in fact, watch it with Trish. Which means it is the only episode this season I have watched with another friend. There was much muttering and sighing. Often at the same time.

This episode summed up both of them. I am glad certain things were concluded and wrapped up, etc. etc. I am most annoyed that JJ pulled out the 'random killing of a main character when least expected card' because he's done it so many times, it's entirely predicatable now, which ruined the 'OH SHIT' moment for me.

I have not been a fan of 'the other side' this season. It's too complicated and twisted and JJ went down this route with Lost and failed. I am surprised he thought it would work better this time. I admit, it's less complicated than Lost (which have no less than 3 alternate universes going on in one season, so many in fact that I never really knew which one I was watching at any given time). I get that Walternate is a bastard and we are supposed to hate him, despite the fact that Walter really caused the problem in the first place and I'd be right pissed if someone came and stole my son from me too. But there's evil characters and then there are the characters that are made to do bad things just so we have someone to hate. And I'm not entirely sure if much of all of this isn't William Bell's fault anyways.

Future Olivia bugged me. I can't quite tell you why, except that all the things I love about Olivia didn't seem to be there anymore, or were buried too deep to see. She and Peter just...weren't right together. No considering what their relationship has been, and even going ahead 15 years. It was just too normal, too quiet, too boring for them.

And way to bring the Observers back. I've been waiting half a season for these guys and I get 20 seconds!
