OotP rant..here be spoilers (if you care)

windemereAm very put-out now. Kara has been forced to rewrite entire Year 6th so that Lucius still dies and Sirius is alive summer after 6th. Am feeling terribly bad as no one will read it.
Am also still very pissy over book 5. And have decided it was written solely for 7-year-olds as is repetative and obvious to all over the age of 12.
Notes:
1. Prophecy: So very obvious and dumb. Completely pointless chapter to build suspence and make us hate LM all the more. Like we need more incentive.
2. Death: Utterly useless in plot development. Only use it to allow Albus to appologize for a reason. Otherwise...does nothing for story line. JK just had too many characters. Also, to note, he is probably not dead.
3. DEs: DEs thrown into Azkaban so that they can be let out before Year 6? Only use is for more chapters and public terror in next book. Lucius so up to something.
4. Ginny: Should be shot.
5. Zach: A useless character if ever I saw one. Only purpose is to give Cassie new ships and plot bunnies. Already H/Z on SCUSA. Been 4 days.
6. Angst: More angst in Pheonix than in DV13. Great feat of accomplishment indeed. Also....very, very pointless and tedious. Am yearning for happy moments of 15-year-olds lives.
7. Dumbledore: Should have killed the long-winded old man. Everyone would have been better off. Pointless story to Harry. Like we didn't already know most of it. We're not stupid. Sorry excuse for lack of being made Prefect. Could have come up with much better one.
8. Lenght: Minus pointless chapters, good. Including pointless chapters...far too long.
9. Percy: BASTARD
10. Umbridge: Just a really bad character. What was JK trying to do? Get all her anger out at one character so that we like all the others? And don't notice the many plot holes and out of characterness?
All in all....worse than 4. And that's an achievement. Worth it? Only if you plan on reading the 6th one.
