windemereYou know what really bugs me? When someone sends you an important professional inquiry email and you don't reply. That's just unprofessional. This is my department, though, so I shouldn't be surprised. It's entirely unprofessional.
In other news, I drove 100km today to visit a museum. Which makes it the furthest I have ever gone for that SPECIFIC reason. To be fair, I'd been there many many years ago before there was an actual indoor museum on the site (there's plenty of heritage buildings - though they aren't open in the winter). Had a fun walk through the 'discovery centre', which was quite good for kids and adults. I always like that about a museum. I was the only one there so...silence. Toured the travelling 'Working Attire' exhibition which was the reason I went. Quite good I thought, which means I will be emailing the creators tomorrow to discuss...potential job opportunities or a volunteer position.
Took a hike out to the upper waterfall. Now this, I remember, but I'd never been there in the winter. Look quite nice, especially in the sun. And no jacket today! The January thaw has BEGUN!!! Was fun clambering around on the unplowed trails.
Instead of the Harvey's, Wendy's, Tim's and McDonald's I drove passed on the way home I went to the supermarket instead. Despite the fact I bought pre-made chinese, I still feel better about myself. ::looks forward to dinner time::
