windemereThe good ol' days were when my grandmother booked a cruise for the family and told my mother about it after she'd paid for it.
It's gotten too complicated to go on holiday nowadays. A diving buddy of my aunt's and I told me he was organising a trip to Bonaire in October. I said that would be fantastic. He said he'd tell my aunt about it. My aunt emailed me to ask what country I would be in in October. I told her, fuck it all, I'll be in Canada (hey, I will take diving and unemployment over just a job). She said she'd investigate costs, etc. She emails me today to tell me I should probably mention it to mum.
Well, bloody hell. Here we go again. Mexico worked because I blackmailed my mother into it. I can't exactly use the same thing again. And the situation is entirely different.
See what I mean? Too complicated!
Let's see, I'm owed a Christmas and Graduation gift this year (well, hopefully). But I wanted to save those for the plane ticket to Auckland. Guess I'll have to get a good part time job to make the money myself.
