Finally got to watch the Doctor Who Confidential from yesterday. I am so glad I didn't have to suffer through watching that and waiting! Getting the play-by-play from Sara was bad enough!

But today it was really fun. Of course, they get zero points for re-using the end music montage from the Series 3.10 Confidential, 'Do You Remember The First Time?' with a few scenes from Series 4 thrown in. Of course, I still love that montage!

God, he's so cute. He's also only 7 months older then me. ;)

I had to go read up on the new Doctor because I don't know anything about him. I guess the first thing I'll see him in will be 'Doctor Who'.
The good thing about not having seen him before will be that I will just associate him with 'Doctor Who'.
I am so going to miss David though. It always takes me a while to adjust when they change the Doctor. I missed Christopher when David came into it.

I think I didn't have enough time to miss Chris. But when I go back and watch series 1 I always go 'oh, I miss now!'. I will miss David, but at least I know he's going to be around in other things, unlike Chris who mostly fell off the face of the Earth post-DW. And hey, I already love David on stage. So he can do more of that and I will be happy.

I like Matt. I've seen most of the stuff he's done, but none of it is iconic enough that I will associate him with that. Like Chris had done stuff before 2005 that I'd seen too, but I see him firstly as the Doctor. David I still kinda associate with Casanova. ;)

Still, will look forward to it, but I will definitely enjoy the last 4 specials with DT.

So you are pleased with Matt Smith? I have to say my initial reaction when he came on (after is that him? wait what? they didn't lead into that well!) was relief. I've only seen him in that couple of things, but he was good, and I can see him being the doctor. Yes, I would have loved them to have a black doctor (but not Paterson whatever) or a woman, but I wasn't really expecting them to.

And yes, I will miss David, because he was fantastic. But I will cope :P
