There is very interesting episode of Top Gear in season 9 where they drive cheaply bought cars from Miami to New Orleans.

What's scary is that they nearly get shot in a bad part of Miami (like there's a good part), their camera crew gets stoned (by rocks) in Alabama, Jeremy nearly drives off the road during a torential downpour and then they give the cars away to needy families in New Orleans. Well, two of them do. May couldn't find anyone to take the charity. And Jeremy nearly gets sued from it being a 1989 Camero, instead of the 1991 it was supposed to be.

I don't understand the south. I also don't understand how they didn't kill their producers when they got back to England. Honestly.

Dad wants to spend two months in Texas next winter. Because it's warm. So's California!

Oh, this is funny! I've seen exactly one episode of Top Gear and that is the episode! On my way home from Scotmoot on Virgin Airlines they were showing Top Gear and since I had never seen it and we don't get it here at home, I gave it a look-see. I was surprised that they weren't killed in Alabama.

I'd love to but I don't get it here. I think it runs on BBC America here and I can't get BBC America unless I pay about $90 a month for my cable. I enjoyed that one episode but until I can with a lotto or something I guess that will have to be it for me.
