You know, a bit ago, when 'they' claimed that this was Tennant's best episode thus far, I rather thought they were lying. Because, you know.
Firstly, I am so looking forward to next week! I've been waiting for that one almost as enthusiastically as I was for Pompeii!
I find it amusing that Martha has been labelled as the "I can take care of myself" girl, so she gets to go off on her own and Donna doesn't. I also love that Donna can do numbers, because that's brilliant. You hold your own girl, and good for you.
We still didn't get to see Tom.
Jenny was sweet, if annoying at the beginning. She grew on me. No enough to want her around, though. I did, however, had a fic idea wherein Ten tries desperately to explain Jenny to Rose. It was not a good fic idea and I promise I won't write it.
The young man, whatever his name was supposed to be, was cute. I actually felt sorry for him when he fell for Jenny's charms. Poor boy. So easy too.
There were quite a few squeeing moments in this ep, which probably makes it the largest squee episode this season, except for maybe Pompeii, but that was geek squeeing. So really, I suppose I bow to the inevitable of being proved wrong. Stephen Greenhorn, I will forever forgive you anything. You're alright.
One small itty bitty problem. They remembered to keep Martha's jacket dirty but forgot the bullet hole that should have been in Jenny's shirt? Oops.
::patiently waits for Confidential to download:: I should be writing my paper...see what you've done to me DW? In six months?
