Firstly, I missed by a weekend. If we had actually got this weekend off like we were supposed to, I could have been watching this in Naples. Oh well.

What is "seriously" in Latin? ::goes to look it up:: I now hate myself for writing this.

Apparently James Moran has been waiting to make that rhyme for three years. I wish he could have resisted the urge.

MODERN ART!!!!!!!

"TARDIS? Time Lord? Yeah."

Generations? Uh, centuries would have been better.

Every single oracle tells the truth? Yeah, if only.

"Oh yes, we're very advanced in Pompeii. In Rome they're still using the old wood burning furnaces." Oh gods.

Ah, the old coin trick. I want to watch Rome again.

IT'S NOT A TOGA.

I bloody love him too.

Appian Way. ::dies::

Now she's getting it. They all do, in the end.

Uh, yeah, about that...Rome might have a thing or two to say. What with the whole empire thing.

Well, actually, it's Pompeii, Herculaneum and most of the Bay of Naples, but I suppose that's a minor detail.

Yesyesyes! Don't go to the beach! Go Donna!

He's got a bad record with fire, all told.

Guess there's no chance of finding that marble carving, is there? ::grins:: That made for a nice ending. If a little...cute.

She's returning...

OH GODS, THE TEXT BOOK!

Seriously, I died laughing. Though the Appian Way thing was cute too.

What was really great is that there were jokes that so many people probably didn't get. Sometimes being a Roman historian is awesome.

And other times, it sucks. ::is tired of crawling around church crypts looking at temple ruins::
