Something just occured to me, and please don't take this as rationalization, because I don't feel I need to. But it popped into my head nonetheless.
If he's really dead, why bother subjecting all of us to the an autopsy next week since he obviously died by being shot in the chest? I wonder at how smart the writers were to spend that much time making it look tragically good only to be screwed by the need for previews.
And a trailing thought: no way do they hate Tosh that much.
Also, if anyone cares (or hasn't heard) here be a casting spoiler for season 4 DW (and yes, it's confirmed by the 'person' themself):
Captain Jack Harkness will be back in all his glory. And I really didn't mean that pun.
