Jan. 7th, 2010 12:20 pmWell, that interview went shockingly well. I think I'm an intelligent speaker. And I can certainly bullshit (Iroquois rattle huh? I could talk for hours). If I do not get the job (1 of 5 interviewees!) at the very least I know what page Craig is on now, which happens to be the same page as me. Which is very very good for a possible museum expansion later this year. Because I COULD DO GOOD THINGS. The whole reason I got into museums as a career in the first place.
There are two men (who I want to kiss) who have a collection of 8000 pieces of historic male and female dress who are trying to create a costume museum in Cambridge Ontario. I AM WILLING TO BEG. A little more work on my marketing project and I am sending them an email offering to help (for free - it's a start).
On a note of Glee! If I got the job (from today) I could stay at Bowring and earn more money as well as continue volunteering at the museums (also, Norma begged me yesterday if I could help her the same hours per week I help Brianne). The downside of all of this would be: No Florida. No Washington (bawls). No time off EVER.
The upshots? Too numerous to list. Man, I actually want this job. I find out Monday, either way.
