Time for a nice long update.
Aug. 20th, 2002 04:51 pmOooh, finally found the song on the internet. I love this song. Fits where I am in life perfectly. I just wish I could find the extended version, and not the short one...oh well.
So, what's been going on in my life that any of you don't already know about? No much, but I'm going to rant anyway. Don't feel forced to read this.
Firstly, I love this new laptop, and I'm starting to like the keyboard, it's so quiet when I type, which is nice. And you barely have to press the keys. The mouse is really nice becuase I can use it to click on things, and not the right and left keys.
Secondly, I leave for uni in less than two weeks. Go me! This is so cool. I'm currently packing, which is literally hell, as you can imagine. Where did I get all this stuff from anyway? I swear I don't have this much stuff. That and all the new stuff I've recently bought...hehe. :)
Thirdly, Elena and Ellen are coming to Waterloo with me, so I'm happy that I have two friends nearby in which to spend my time on weekends with. Right. And sis is coming home in three months. ::cheers loudly:: YEA!!! I'm so happy. HP, Sidra, TTT, Xmas, New Year's. What a line-up. ::grins at Kara:: Is it so wrong I organize my life around movies? No, didn't think so.
My new screen saver is a crimson background with gold letters that scroll across the screen and pronounce: "I'm in Gryffindor, but I'm a Slytherin at heart." Agree all, becuase it's true. Didn't that quiz prove it? I'm part Slytherin and Ravenclaw, and am in Gryffindor becuase I have to be in order to be Kara's friend, otherwise we wouldn't have a working plot line, understand. I'm going to pretend I'm in Ravenclaw at uni. Gryff are good-to-shoes, and Slyths are despised. I give it an hour before my room mate, witnessing me putting up my HP poster and Hogwarts pic, and scarf, is going to think she's moved in with an insane person. And one who is quite proud to be this crazy. It takes enormous talent to be this out of it. One hell of an imagination, mixed with sarcasm and giddiness, and a really twisted sense of humour, add crazy friends and an unhealthy interest in fantasy and children's stories (with an obsession with sons of dark wizards...::looks wistful::) and you get a very, very, very bad combination. I'm crazy. I should be in St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries (and that fact that I know that off but heart proves...something). I wanna go!
So off topic I don't even remember what the topic was. Enjoying this Kara, are you? Laugh all you want. You're the one who's related to...him. Need I say more? What were you on when you decided that, anyway? Just curious. I want to know why you weren't sharing. ;]
Anyway, where was I? I'm lost. So, laptop, school, friends, packing...insaneness. NEW WORD! Um, yea. Er...er...er is a word you know. Er...spider. Don't ask. Just don't.
I'm really hungry. I guess I wasn't pigging out enough this afternoon. Hum, must remedy that. But first, I'll finish this.
So, any of you ::looks at Chrissie and Sid and Kara:: who like HP fanfic off of FictionAlley, why haven't any of you registered and posted on the boards? There's some really good threads going, Snape/Neville anyone. ::grins as Kara runs screaming:: Mission accomplished. Go, sign-up, post. Tell me who you are. I'm Eldanna, is you couldn't have figured that out on your own. Try looking at the Chamber of Secrets movie thread, under 'what you shouted during the trailer', it's hysterically funny what some people said and did. We're all insane. :)

Okay, I'm running out of ideas now. How about the stand-up Draco issue? That hasn't been addressed in along time. What do you think Sid? He's really nice you know. ::sighs:: Why is he yours? Who decided this and why wasn't I polled? Oh, wait, it wasn't a question. ::Oliver::...You know, the fact that I've gone through more boyfriends than either of you is a little disturbing. Very, actually. ::ponders this:: Well, Neville really wasn't a boyfriend, becuase I said no. Seamus I only dated for 6 months, until... And Oliver I dated first, and then married...altough the debates still out on that one. I need an unknown guy. Maybe Malcolm. He's only two years younger. Ailis Baddock. Rhymes with Craddock (my nana's l.name) Hum...::ponders this:: We'll get back to that. Twins marrying Slytherins. Interesting idea.
So, Kara and I are brainstorming tomorrow. All night session...just kidding Leah.
This is so long, I'm stopping now. I'll post any sudden inspiration later.
