Okay, so there's a bit of a bad record with this name.
Ianto, I LOVE YOU. I think I will just start every episode review off with these words. It's better that way.
The 'new' team was fun. In all the ways that would get really annoying, really fast, but for one episode was full of awesomeness. Owen was hilarious. And adorable.
And Adam was hot. Also, since he was just trying to save his own existance, I suppose he can be forgiven for, you know, everything except Ianto. That was just sick.
So the fandom thoughts on Grey were rather more entertaining then the reality turned out to be. But honestly, how many fics have I stumbled across in the last week where Jack has a son? Did NO ONE get the brother thing?
I am kinda in love with the boardroom scene. Because it was neat.
I am getting a clearer picture, episode by episode of exactly how Jack views his team. And I'm trying to piece it all together in my head, and maybe Kate had it right. But it's sad, because Jack's found that thing that takes the loneliness away and gives him a reason to keep fighting and living and he's found all the things he needs in every one of them. And the Doctor's never going to have that, because he can't (at least anymore). Jack's capacity to love is probably never going to stop amazing me.
My favourite part of the entire episode was by far the Jack/Ianto at the every end, in which Jack says something to do with measuring tapes (hee) and Ianto, looking away from him and towards the camera just mouthes "fuck". And it was love.
Oh look, Martha... And what's-his-name looks familiar. What's he from? Sci-fi baddy? It'll come to me.
