Feb. 3rd, 2008 12:59 pmSo my only way into Italy for two months is to lie and say I'm backpacking. Since any study whatsoever requires a Visa. Unless you are British. Which I am not. But, technically, I suppose one could say I am there to travel...and study. I really have no ambition right now to apply for another Visa.
Crap.
You know, I don't care. I'm taking that stance. I don't care.

Date: 2008-02-04 07:51 pm (UTC)I can, technically, pass it off as a tourist thing, because my reason for going is thesis research, which is not, technically, study. At least not according to Italian visa requirements. Their definition of study is actually being registered in a program and have evidence of that. Which I don't, because I'm registered at Exeter and just doing an exchange study, basically.
I think I'll just pass it off as tourist/research. No documents required. And I've got a UK student visa, so maybe that counts for something.
