I love Earth episodes, probably because they are few and far between and always awesome.

I had John pegged as a military brat, but apparantly not, if brother is talking about the "family business" and they live in a house that size. Also, David? Are we that short on names? And did we have to actually bring in the ex-wife? Couldn't we just have ignored her existance?

Alright, I'm not sure we needed that particular special effect. Ugh.

I enjoyed the ex-wife, actually. She was pleasantly three dimensional and SG never does that. And she's placed high enough and smart enough to figure stuff out on her own...and I like that too.

I enjoyed this one a lot. And I typically hate Earth episodes.

I should have qualified that as SGA Earth episodes. The SG-1 ones always sucked.

I just spend an hour meeting with a prof I only met two weeks ago to talk about my essay, and I know I shouldn't, but I feel guilty for using his knowledge and connections. But that's what academia is about, ain't it? Also, he seems thrilled that someone not in his class wants to do an essay on his class topic. And apparently I'm meeting a Portugese Ph.D student for tea next week. Huh.
