Remembrance Day

It's November 11th. And all that.

They are making a movie version of His Dark Materials. I am thrilled with myself. I bet myself that they would within the next two years, and low and behold, December 7, 2007 will fall within that time period. Next xmas may be fun, for it will hopefully involve HDM, Kate, England, and....well England.

Am happy for the first time in WEEKS. And internet has certainly improved my outlook.

Have an essay to write tomorrow.

Okay THAT was depressing.

There is nothing on TV Saturday at 10 except really bad movies. Am contemplating going to bed.

I live a sad life.

Oh! I think I had heard rumours of the Dark Materials movie - I hope to everything they do a phenomenal job. Golden Compass and etc are just too good to break.

I wish, I wish they'd brought the play to Canada though. 6h of shiny goodness or something with all the daemons done in the lionking theatre animal style. *sigh* Some day.

I have to write an essay tomorrow too...

I MISS HIS DARK MATERIALS!

I miss my books. And the Bradford Public Library is WOEFUL and INADEQUATE. Seriously. No Harry Potter at all.

I am still of the firm belief that if Phillip Pullman was half as famous and JK Rowling, his books would be more banned than Harry Potter because...you know, EVE IS THE HERO...but what ever.

I wonder who'll they'll cast.

Never mind! Fucking Nicole Kidman. Ah well...it really couldn't be anyone else because Tilda Swinton (Hello CREEPY!) is busy making The Chronicles of Narnia. Or, you know, she was.

Anyway other than that everyone is British, which is promising.
