windemereFIRSTLY: CRAIG PARKER IS COMING TO THE GATHERING. My reason for excessive happiness? Well, I have a ticket, for one, but for two, where Craig goes Mark follows 85% of the time. And dear Mark posted on the group five days ago (we were beginning to worry, it had been 5 months since anyone heard from him last) and said he was going to RingCon in the fall. One step closer to getting him there in 2007 when I will actually BE THERE! So, I'm all thrilled now. And Mommy said we are going to LOTR as a family in the fall. Yay, I get to see it twice!!! ::dances:: Needless to say, all this was a nice welcome home.
Back....here. Will be back in Waterloo tomorrow, oh joy. Had the best flight back yet. I do love the Tampa airport; if only Pearson was as nice. Have made the final step in travelling alone, so I should be all ready for that trip to Greece next May. And Scotland the following September. Time to get out of here!

But on the more important front, I actually had a vacation for the first time in I can't remember how long. Another stamp in the passport, brown all over, and a reason to take up golf. Would any of you stop talking to me if I do that?
Off to dinner at the Aunt's tonight. It's so easy to get her to feed me. :D
And, as a sidenote, I have ANOTHER new cousin. And my parents have a new great-niece. They are old, aren't they? 6 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews, and not a grandchild in sight. :D
