Doctor Who 'The Beast Below'

He isn't getting it. He never really does. I've concluded that the way the Doctor's brain works is to go for the most complicated answer, which means he usually misses the right one. Which is, of course, why he travels with the humans, because we are simple minded and therefore we get it. Amy, I think, get's it better than most. She gets it because when she was a little girl she saw impossible things and whether she meant to or not, she's never let the chance for the impossible slip away from her. And even through the years of ridicule, therapy, and probably bullying and being an outcast, she still has her heart. Whyever that is, bless her.
You know what I like? This show is just predictable enough that I am pretty certain she is never going to go back to that fiance. But at the same time, I think the Doctor could get her back the day on her wedding if she really wanted it. But Amy loved the Doctor before she ever loved another person (even family) and the Doctor always wins. Except when he loses.
I like that he trusts more easily these days. Thank you Rose.
