I think this one was important. It was important for a lot of reasons (backstory, hints at the rest of the season, PETER/OLIVIA FOR THE WIN), but the most important was Walter related. Because Walter has killed a lot of people indirectly in his day. Almost everything this show is about can be traced back to things Walter and Belly did. Which means - although they didn't intend to/didn't know - they are culpable.

But this is the first episode that Walter has pulled the trigger in the same room. Alright, it wasn't a trigger, but a gun wouldn't be very Walterish either. He killed with science, like he always does, but he did it face to face. And I like that, because it means he knows what he's done in the past and he understands what's wrong and what he needs to take responsibility for, but he will still do it to save them all.

And the squeeing over Olivia as part of the family is going to last a very long time. At least until next week when Peter really discovers he's been betrayed. Then the happy family isn't going to be so happy anymore.

I saw that last photograph coming about a mile and 45 minutes away, but whatever. I'm not sure how they could have made a plot twist there that a sci-fi fan wouldn't have seen through. Because 100 year old scientists? Doesn't even make me blink anymore.

I like the reoccuring book seller. Also, I may be in love with that bookstore for the very principle of it. But I think Peter did it just a little bit for the money. He's going to regret that less by next week.

Also I love the fact that he knew that chemical was regulated. Nice throw back to Peter's introduction. Honestly, the most useful thing they did was make him a chemistry teacher (fake credentials or not) with published papers. That will never cease to be useful. I am sure it will be used to save the day at some point.

I have this insane desire to research the real Bishop family tree and its immigration to America. Just to see. I get excited about genealogy, you know.

I miss Broyles being awesome already. We were so spoiled last week and now...nada. ::sighs:: I suppose he can't be AMAZING every week.

I keep getting comments about the P/O porn fic and how good it is. I worry I may have found my calling. Pretend I didn't say that. I'm going to bed.
