::facepalm::
Feb. 5th, 2009 08:52 pmDear Student,
I am writing on behalf of the University to apologise for any inconvenience which you may have experienced in attempting to pursue your studies at the current time.
Where possible departments have endeavoured to continue to operate as normal. However, as you will appreciate a large number of staff and students have found it difficult, if not, impossible to attend the University and as a consequence I know that some lectures and services have had to be cancelled or suspended.
For information about re-arranged lectures please contact your Department next week. I am pleased to say that the Library WILL REMAIN OPEN until midnight tonight. We will endeavour to continue to keep the Library open even if the adverse weather conditions continue.

Date: 2009-02-05 09:21 pm (UTC)I need to dig out the window of my bedroom, but am putting it off, because I'd have to dig ALL ACROSS THE BACK OF THE HOUSE to get there.
Ian knocked the snow off the roof and the resulting pile is HIGHER THAN THE FRONT DOOR (which you have to walk up five steps to get to).
