Fundraising Pitch
Jan. 22nd, 2013 06:55 pmI'm going to ask this here, as well as everywhere else, because I think there might be a person or two on this list willing to donate.
In May, I'm walking the Camino de Santiago, the 800km French route across northern Spain. I'm doing it for myself, mostly, but I am also doing it to raise money for cancer research. Cancer has touched people I love and care about many times in my life, and probably will touch many more (even myself, perhaps). I can think of no better charity to raise money for.
Please, if you can spare even $10, help me reach my goal (though I'm walking one way or another). Every little bit can help fund research that could one day cure this horrible illness.
