Brave New World Part II

Okay, see, no. This is not an acceptible way to start an episode. I really don't care if it's Leonard Nemoy and you think you can get away with anything writers.

Now I need to do work. And contemplate whether I can manage any more season finales this month.

I've just realised something, though it's been understood in the back of my mind for a couple of months now.

I probably won't even hit 100k word count this year for fic.

Last year, I nearly hit 150k.

This depresses me more than it should. Especially since I've already hit 20k academically this year and will be over 30k by the end of 2012.

But I should make 75k of fic this year, provided the plan goes according to...the plan. Huh.

Hidden Gems

I'm not a Mandy Moore fan, but 'Love, Wedding, Marriage' is an adorable film I just stumbled across. James Brolin AND Jane Seymour? I mean, really, how can you beat that! It was only made last year too, which surprised me. And it's actually an original plot line, as far as I can tell. Cute, light-hearted, funny and feel good. Just what I needed today!
