Jan. 4th, 2011 12:01 pmThe last time I had the overwhelming urge to write a story that no one else had written, even the tv shows writers it involved a year of research and 10,000 words and hardly anyone reviewed it.
This time around I really don't have the energy to do it. I just know that if I did, it would probably be awesome (and not for a dying fandom either). But there's jobs to apply for and novel still to edit and work and I'm tired from 3 weeks of stress and right now I'm still recovering from being ill. So I don't want to write it.
I mean, I do want to write it, but I won't. Maybe in a few months. By which time, someone else probably will have, since I know one or two that are already delving into the plot line.
Oh well. I guess this one isn't going to be one of my writing fandoms. I'm okay with that. I've still got another series of DW to write for! And so far, the previews are looking awesome!
EDIT: KICKING MYSELF OVER THIS RIGHT NOW. Another 10,000 words and no reviews. I am destined to be ignored in the writing world.
