Things I Learned in Cornwall

2) The Looe train stops at the crossroads. Not the cars.
3) The donkey pulling the cart of flowers makes the speed limit. The cars follow.
4) The wind can blow hard enough to spontaneously collapse an umbrella.
5) People you have never met can happily welcome you like long-lost family.
6) I would be forever happy if only the Dave channel was available online.
The US news seems to interest the British people much more than their own. I have no idea why.
It was a good trip. Even if it was only 28 hours long and interrupted by our very own south-coast hurricane.
