Further reflections that are making my brain hurt

So: red settings, dampers, his name, snapping the TARDIS open, others I've probably forgotten about...none of them would happen in the future if River hadn't told him about them in the past/present. I HATE SELF FULFILLING PARADOXES.

Basically, if he hadn't met her in the library he probably never would meet her in the future and the entire thing would never have happened. But he comes when she calls because old him knows that young him has to be the one to do it. Or maybe the TARDIS knew, either way.

HEAD HURTS. Really have to stop pondering on this and return to researching my dissertation.
