Nov. 5th, 2007 06:10 pmOh, pretty fireworks.
It is November, and therefore it is National Novel Writing Month. And again, therefore, there is no chance I am going to be able to do it. One year...one year, I swear. Of course, there is always the fact that I could cheat and pick any month to do it in and then just hand it in in November, but I'm a better person than that.
I think.
Perhaps. Still, too late this year.
Now, since you have already sighed with relief that I have so far not mentioned DW, let me add that I finally noticed (I'm slow, okay, we've determined this) the itty-bitty TARDIS sitting on my prof's desk. Tis so cute. I want one. Itty-Bitty TARDISes. Every kid should have one. Especially brilliant, of course, if they actually worked. But one can't have everything, now can they?
Apparently, my life so far dictates that one can't have anything one wants. I have a sinking suspicion I shall not get the giant floating city I asked for for xmas either, even though I caved and didn't specify one with a working Star Drive. I was trying to make it easy. I mean, giant floating cities aren't exactly easy to come by.
I will go away now and walk the 45 minutes to the theatre to watch a movie I really have no interest in seeing a) to pretend I have a social life and b) because it's Kate Blanchett and I kinda feel obligated.
