Jun. 17th, 2006 07:47 pmIn the department of tired:
I have never in MY LIFE been this exhausted. It started with a long week at work. Then a lot of alcohol. Then an entire night of not sleep. Then the hangover. Then the 4 hour dive trip out on Lake Ontario in +30 degrees. Then the unpacking of the house.
My brain is fairly awake, but my body is so tired that typing this is a struggle and staying on my feet has been impossible for about 5 hours now. I barely stayed awake through dinner.
I'm sleeping tomorrow. I've decided I deserve it. Provided I can sleep, of course.
In the department of the weather:
Could it BE any hotter? My air-conditioning in the car broke. It was about 120* when I drove back from Oakville today. I am so screwed.
In other news, I now officially live in Burlington. And by officially, I mean I still have a house in Waterloo, and will be spending very little time in the house in Burlington for the next 7 months. But I guess it's official anyways.
Succeeded rather splendidly in slicing open the end of my ring finger this morning while trying to reajust my fins. Would have felt worse about it, except my aunt did the same thing. Clearly it wasn't a good day. Stung like fracking hell, though, for the entire dive. Ontario water in cuts not good. Still is throbbing, and is making typing quite difficult.
Am going to watch TV and hopefully fall asleep.
