Oct. 30th, 2005 07:09 pmWhen I write all the work down that I still have to do, it looks like so much.
2 presentations, research, 1 essay, 1 mid-term, 5 latin quizzes, 2 english quizzes, and T-5 weeks and counting left. Plus 4 exams, of course, but I'm less worried about those than anything else. So much to do this week alone. And I'm going home for 12 hours next weekend to suprise my parents for their b-days, but that's 12 less hours of work time I have. Gah. Can it just be Dec. 6th already? Please?
Got my costumes done for the two presentations at least, and finished the extras on my con outfit, even though that doesn't have to be done until next July. Have decided I hate the sewing machine, or it hates me.
Application for the job at Miletos goes in on Tuesday. We shall see.
Have begun the overwhelming task of picking graduate schools and programs to apply for. This just makes me worry more. Mom is not happy with my decision to stay at Laurier an extra two semesters. Apparently she thinks taking modern languages is a pointless endevour. This from the one who took Spanish in university. At least I'll use my modern languages.
In other news, Samhain is tomorrow night. Kate is coming over to try out a new ritual. I've been doing the same one for 6 years, so, this will be an interesting undertaking. And, I've never celebrated a Samhain within the same year of loosing such a close loved one. Tomorrow may be harder than winter holidays.
I just want it all to be OVER.
