Jul. 29th, 2004 06:51 pmSo, I'm leaving at 5am for Ottawa tomorrow. Can I hear sympathetic groans? No? Didn't think so. Ah well, Kate's been up at 4 every morning since she got to Mahdaba...so I won't complain.
It's going to be a long day. But then a really fun weekend. Off to Convention Alley, a complete adult, completely education forum where I will be attending intellectual lectures and listening to thought provoking presentations...
...on Harry Potter. What, you thought otherwise? :D

On another note, since I forgot about meaning to post this. Leah and I had a wonderful time at the renfest last weekend. Much fun was had, including watching an entire joust! If you have no idea what that's so important to us, then you don't need to know.
I also discovered that though we live in a world where everything costs money, and usual far more than it's worth, every now and then you get more for less. Like last weekend. I got a beautiful anklet (that fits!) for just $11.50. If also came with a foot massage, back massage and a dance (the details of which only Leah is privy to) with a cute guy with an adorably bad scottish accent, and wearing only a kilt. :D What, you thought I was a good girl? Not even close.
