How about a nice long update?
Oct. 27th, 2003 02:36 pmAs I have half an hour to kill before my appointment, what say you all to reading a ramble? I'm good at those after all.
Okay, so I just DROPPED LATIN!!! Now Kathy's mad at me, but I really don't care. I was going to fail it if I didn't, and that would have drastically brought down my good classics mark.
So I'm now a combined honours Classical Studies and Religion & Culture major. Go me! I get to learn about asian religions and modern religion's affect on culture. I'm broadeningmy horizens.
Aren't you proud everyone? I've decided studing dead languages and ancient civ isn't going to get my many places in life. R&C is a little more modern and in the present; instead of having my focus firmly stuck in the distant pass. Although, I could have done Anthro...that's even more ancient.
So, have only 4 courses now, and one less exam...thank the gods. I really wasn't going to have time to study for Latin well, not with German and Greek and the Gathering. Although, you all know which one is the most important in that list. :)
I think I made a good decision, and my mother agrees which is suprising. My father still thinks I'm learning useless stuff (he was an engineering major). And he hates history, especially the learning of it.
Look how long this is getting!
Anyway, have been entertaining myself with looking at all the new ROTK pics that have showed up on TORn lately. Aw, the Dutch are sooooo lucky! Did anyone see them?
I almost crying looking at the Denethor/Faramir/funeral pyre one. ::starts to tear:: Am so crying during that part of the movie.
Aragorn as Healer one v. touching. Although Linds thinks he looks half mad...to each their own. And it's toro nin, like I'm going to say something bad about him? Don't answer that Dune.
How is everyone? Hardly talk to anyone except Leah and Krys. And then it's ranting. We like to complain, and we're sooooo good at it. Comes with being in uni I guess, you automatically learn how to rant to anyone and everyone who will listen. Like this...this is me ranting and rambling and no one is reading this. You aren't, are you Krysie? Hope not. There's nothing worthwhile here.
Am now bored and have time to kill...what should I do?
