Oh, saw the first part of the Captain Jack episode of Doctor Who over the holiday and am sending my Netflix back quick as maybe so I can get the next part! I saw the 'Are you my mommy?" portion with the dancing Doctor and the very flirty Captain. Looking forward to that next part now! Still have no explanation for that 'hand in the bubbling jar' yet. Hand in the...oh. Nevermind. Mind went blank for a second. Uh, yeah, that's an 'end of season 3' thing. Or a 'beginning of season 2' thing depending on one's point of view and ability to put two and two together.

Yay! I will book them as soon as I get back to Exeter tomorrow (Friday). It's only a 4 hour direct trip (I thought it was longer), but I can get to Sheffield for about mid-day Friday and then leave later on Monday (or early Tuesday morning if that works).

You leaving on the tuesday morning is fine by me - I don't have to be at work until 10, so can see you off. Around midday Friday is also good.

Is it really only 4 hours? I thought it would be much longer than that too!

It's direct. Well...direct through Birmingham but I don't have to change trains, so it hardly matters if I route through there. I am assuming there is only one train station in Sheffield?
