windemereOkay, so I get woken up this morning at 9:13 to the sound of the phone ringing. Next thing I know mom is pushing the phone in my ear and saying "Jacob" and I'm think WTF?
Apparently Michell changed the schedule and then forgot (again) to call and tell me I was working at 9am and not 1pm. I made it to work at 9:45.
So, today the store was dead. Like, winter storm/blizzard dead. FOR SEVEN HOURS. I think if there had been a knife handy Michell would have slit her wrists. And so would I.
The only interesting thing today was that a woman walked in to the store, did the circut and walked out again, and normally I wouldn't have noticed her except that she was a dead ringer for Dr. Biro: glasses, hair and height. Have now found Radek and Biro's twins. In Burlington. I am slightly....unnerved. Also, why can't I find John's twin?
So the shooting in Blackburn, Virginia has me kinda freaked out. Because I just don't understand how anyone can kill 32 people. One, maybe, anger is a pretty powerful thing, but 32? Gods.
