windemereSo, just finished watching the commentary for The Brotherhood, which is one of my favourite season one eps.
Martin and Martin got into a talk about the relationship between Ancient and Latin and the evolution of the language, and got the factual history of latin completely, brilliantly, gloriously wrong and then proceeded to comment that some latin guy would probably now be writing in to explain to them that Ancient and Latin couldn't possibly be the same language.
